A police officer, SP Ayuba Micah, has been shot dead at his residence in Suleja, Niger State.
It was gathered that the police officer was killed during an early morning attack on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Micah was the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of ‘A’ Division in Suleja.
Security analyst Zagozola Makama said the attackers shot the officer and made away with his mobile phone and that of his wife.
His wife, Asabe Micah, disclosed that the gunmen stormed their home in the Behind Sandoco area of Suleja at about 3:00 a.m.

“Three armed men invaded our residence,” she said.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that Micah was quickly taken to the General Hospital in Suleja, where he was confirmed dead.
The officer’s remains have been deposited in the hospital mortuary, while the family is expected to announce funeral details in due course.
