According to Olaniyan, Iweala’s appointment would boost girl-child education and more women would aspire to acquire quality education which would prepare them for future challenges.

Olaniyan commended President Muhammad Buhari for demonstrating unalloyed support and encouragement by canvassing for the emergence of Iweala as the first African and first female to occupy the exalted and prestigious office.

She enjoined some parents to stop abusing their female child, saying they should rather support their education as one of the weapons for their future.

Olaniyan also used the medium to appreciate and commend Governor Oyetola for his support to her agency.

According to her, Governor Oyetola was using the O-Meals to eradicate poverty in the state as the programme was empowering women as well as farmers in the state.

Olaniyan said since they started feeding the primary schools pupils across the state, the enrolment was increasing everyday while the food was also contributing to the good health of the pupils.

“I want to use this medium to appreciate our father, the amiable governor of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola for supporting us for us to be able to feed these primary schools pupils.
Despite the lean purse of the state, Mr Governor still deem it fit to be funding the agency so that feeding the pupils will not stop, may Allah continue to bless and favour him,” She said.

She also enjoined the federal government not to relent in paying their counterpart fund as a way of demonstrating their own support to the programme.

Olaniyan however called on the parents to join hands with Governor Gboyega Oyetola-led administration in fighting for the future of every child in the state, adding that, they are the future of tomorrow.
