Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Thursday embarked on an inspection tour of the state’s boundaries with neighbouring states.
He commended the frontline security officers while declaring that the state government would make security officers manning the boundaries more comfortable so as to discharge their duties without hitches.
The Governor also noted that the state would ensure strict compliance with the inter-state lockdown order agreed upon by Governors of the South-West states to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
He made this known shortly after inspecting the Oyo State boundaries with Ogun in Bakatari and Dalley town, among others.
He added that the compliance level in some boundaries inspected were 100 percent, while full compliance had yet to be achieved in some other boundaries.
