The Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Ward 2, Owan West Local government area of Edo state, has suspended four of its members from the party.
The suspended members are Hon. Blessing Serift Agbebaku, Pa C.O. Imogbore, Mr Godwin Ikharo and Paul Airaodion Oise respectively.
In the release signed by over 17 Ward executives, including its chairman, Oyakhire Attati, Secretary; Otubor Mayor, Woman Leader; and Agbai Evagelin among others, the party relied on Chapter 10, Article 57 of the PDP constitution to suspend the members.
The ward chairman Mr Oyakhire Attati said that the affected persons were removed on the grounds of anti-party activities and gross misconduct which violated the party’s constitution.
