President Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, returned to Nigeria after a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom.
Tinubu, who left Nigeria for the UK on October 3, arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Saturday evening.
The president was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.
The convoy movement caused heavy traffic congestion on the airport road with this reporter caught up in the road blockade mounted by security agencies for about two hours.
