  • Hebrews 12 vs 2-3 “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds”
Jesus paid the price for his purpose on earth. He didn’t just come and fulfill his purpose without paying its price. For every great assignment and purpose, there is always a price to pay. If you are not ready to pay the price for your great destiny and purpose on earth, you cannot fulfil it no matter what.

You also need to learn to measure your achievement in every month or every two months. every quarter … you are supposed to divide your purpose into segments to be achieved. When is what supposed to be achieved? This will allow accountability and measurement of result. Measure your success periodically…don’t wait till the end of the year to check your overall achievement

What price did Jesus pay to fulfil his destiny?
1. HE ENDURED THE CROSS: your purpose is the strength that keeps you going when the going becomes tough…there is a strength your purpose gives you when you focus on it.

2. HE DESPISED THE SHAME BECAUSE OF HIS DESTINY FULFILLMENT… He didn’t regard the shame because of where he was going…not that he didn’t experience the shame…but he didn’t regard the. He didn’t give attention to the shame, he didn’t allow the shame to cloud him. He was more focused on his Destiny and fulfillment of destiny than the trials around him. It wasn’t easy to be a savior and to be subjected to such a ridicule but yet our savior endured it for the glory that was set before him. Don’t care what people say about you so far it’s not a sin…if it is to fulfill your destiny. Then there shouldn’t be any shame. You must ignore any form of shame and hostility.

3. HE ENDURED HOSTILITY FROM THE PEOPLE WHOM HE FED, HEALED, CARED FOR, AND RAISED…have you found yourself experiencing enmity from the people you have helped and you are becoming discouraged by that because of that your focus be on your destiny fulfillment…you are supposed to endure hostility….fork relatives and friends. Have you been betrayed or disappointed by the people you have showed love to…don’t be bitter …face your destiny and be focused on it. You will not count any pain if you have the correct mentality of where you are going in life.

 Create inner motivation after it excites you.
 When you value where you are going, the price is too much to pay.
 It is where you are going that matters not where you are going through..
 Focus on where you are going and forget what shame you are passing through
 if you dodge the price you will suffer it in the future
 The price is the sacrifice to achieve your purpose.
 Something has to go for something… there is a price for everything you will want to achieve in Life.
 To be a Christian, to achieve your desire. It all comes with a price.
 John summarized the price Abraham paid. He left his family and friends to walk in the land God said he would show him and paid the price.

PRICES ABRAHAM PAID
Gen 12: 1 What price did Abraham pay for his fulfillment of destiny?
HEB 11: 8-10
1. HE LEFT ALL FOR GOD. HE ABANDONED ALL AND FOLLOWED GOD: success is very cheap when the mind of someone is made up. You cannot use the principle of Egypt to run the new land God has given you. Abraham had to leave his comfort zone for the purpose that God had prepared for him.
2. HE LEFT CERTAINTY FOR UNCERTAINTY: God will first show you your glorious destiny before showing you the price for it. Your purpose will excite you so that you can gather the faith needed to walk through your destiny. No miracle can remove the price to pay for something. Prayer cannot replace the 9-month pregnancy period to have a child
3. ABRAHAM WAITED PATIENTLY: He was patient. After you have done the will of God. it is needed to endure for the promised fulfillment. It is the strength of your purpose that determines the price you will pay. the quality of your purpose will determine the price…if you want to build a bungalow…it doesn’t cost the same price as building a one-room or a six-bedroom duplex. Habakkuk 2:3 New King James Version (NKJV)For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
4. ABRAHAM OBEYED GOD IN ALL THINGS: Obedience is another price to pay for destiny fulfillment.
5. ABRAHAM WALKED WITH GOD: I have made up my mind to walk with God. It is a price to pay for destiny fulfillment. It must become your inner drive that keeps you moving. Every area of your life is spiritual.
There is a price for every goal, you can achieve your goal if you are willing to pay the price!
