Umar Shehu-Idris, a prince of the Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State, has died in a road crash.
Abdullahi Kwarbai, the spokesperson for the emirate, confirmed the incident.
He said the accident occurred on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway on Tuesday evening.
The late Shehu-Idris, the younger brother of Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, is survived by a wife and two children.
Until his passing, he served as the assistant secretary of the emirate council.
Umar died just 40 days after his mother, Habibah Shehu-Idris, passed.
