The FCT Police Command says it has rescued 2023 Big Brother Naija All-Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya after an alleged assault by her father at Royal Anchor Estate in Wuye.
The incident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday after a distress call from the estate.
It followed a viral livestream in which Ilebaye appeared distressed, with visible bruises on her face, repeatedly pleading to leave the house.
“Come and open the door, I want to be going,” she said on the stream. “Please come and help me,” she screamed at other points.
The video spread quickly online, sparking calls for immediate intervention.
