Senator Adams Oshiomhole says he feels a deep personal loss following the death of Chief Bashiru Etamesor, the Onogie of Iyamho in Edo State.

In a condolence message released through his Chief of Staff, Hon. Victor Oshioke, the former Edo governor described the late traditional ruler as a revered monarch, trusted confidant, and close family relation.

“This hits home hard,” Oshiomhole said. The late Onogie was his cousin and stood by him through different phases of his life and public service.

Oshiomhole described Etamesor as a principled leader who dedicated his life to his people and upheld justice, fairness, and peace. Under his reign, Iyamho saw growth, unity, and development, while his wisdom earned him respect across Uzairue Kingdom.
