Reality TV star Phyna has called for justice for fellow BBNaija winner Ilebaye, questioning the decision to release Ilebaye’s father from police custody.
In a post circulating online, Phyna alleged that Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya was released and that Ilebaye’s two younger brothers were returned to him, despite concerns about the case.
She said the handling of the matter was rushed and lacked proper investigation.
“Ilebaye’s Dad has been released and the two younger brothers have been given back to him. Please what kind of style is this one? No proper investigation and they allowed him to go home,” she wrote.
Phyna claimed the case was progressing until a female Divisional Police Officer allegedly ordered his release.
“Everything was going well and before we knew it, a female DPO came and asked that he should be released. Ilebaye does not deserve this. We need justice for Ilebaye,” she added.
