Photographs have emerged on the social media of a meeting between a former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, and a suspended senator, Abdul Ningi.
The photographs emerged amid the raging controversy over el-Rufai’s visit to the office of an opposition political party.
el-Rufai, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, had during the week visited the national secretariat of the Social Democratic Party.
The visit by Ningi to el-Rufai has also stirred controversy as the suspended representative of Bauchi Central Senatorial District was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Some are asking: What is el-Rufai up to?
He is bring insinuated into the 2027 presidential race against the backdrop of his alleged backstabbing by President Bola Tinubu who announced him.as a ministerial nomineee but failed to ensure that the Senate leadership [Tinubu’s proteges] pushed through his confirnation.
el-Rufai had to leave Nigeria to pursue some private endeavours. He seems to be back in the country, perhaps, fot good.
