[Press Release] Pastor Olufemi Bakare, the leader of the Tinubu Mandate Group (TMG), has called on the fifteen aspirants who contested with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the APC primary election to set aside their differences and prioritize peace for the sake of the party.
Pastor Bakare’s appeal was contained in a press release in which he congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on receiving his Certificate of Returns from the National Chairman of APC in Abuja.
He said that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory was well-deserved and emphasized the importance of working together for the party’s interest.
Acknowledging Governor Aiyedatiwa’s achievements and positive impact on the party in Ondo State, Pastor Bakare urged the national leadership of the party to address any misunderstandings among the aggrieved aspirants before it escalated to a greater crisis.

Highlighting the unity and vibrancy that Governor Aiyedatiwa has brought to the party, Pastor Bakare stressed the need for all members to support the governor’s efforts to reconcile with his co-contestants.
He emphasized that the party’s success in retaining leadership in Ondo State was a collective responsibility.
The TMG leader also recalled the group’s symbolic victory dance in Ifedore local Government at the start of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s campaign, underscoring the unity and determination within the party.
