The process was reportedly massively rigged by the camp of a former governor of the state, Mr Ayo Fasoye, prompting a litany of protests that have threatened the foundation of the party in the state.
The NWC has quickly summoned a stakeholders’ meeting for Wednesday to weigh the available options before it to adopt to save the party.
There are indication that all the aspirants save the Fayose camp will push fir the nullification of the ad-hoc congress.
Once that is done, the options left for the party to adopt will be the exco and statutory delegates. Super delegates system is also a possibility.

The NWC assured party members that the report as well as the petitions and complaints would be comprehensively reviewed while all concerns raised would be carefully considered for amicable resolution in the overall interest of the Party.
The NWC urged all governorship aspirants, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the Party in Ekiti State to remain calm, united and focused for the task ahead.
