During a New Year’s Eve service in 2024 at LordArise Global Christian Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Pastor Frank Adeyemi declared that Nigeria would be invaded by a foreign power this year.

According to Pastor Adeyemi, the planned invasion was not merely about concerns over Christian genocide in the country but had other connotations.

The cleric advised the government to be sensitive to the welfare and security of foreign nationals in Nigeria to avoid backlash.

He also predicted that prices of food items and commodities would drop sharply from March but would rise again in April due to certain forces.

Pastor Adeyemi counselled President Bola Tinubu to mobilise pastors and key leaders in the faith to seek divine intervention to halt the military onslaught from President Trump.

In a statement, Pastor Adeyemi emphasised the need for the Body of Christ to take spiritual charge over Nigeria.

“We must superintend over Nigeria’s destiny, irrespective of what political leaders are doing,” he said.

The pastor urged the Body of Christ to come together in prayer and fasting to reverse the threat, stressing that God could provide simple solutions to complex problems.

However, Pastor Adeyemi also warned that Nigeria’s cup was full for vengeance due to the unprecedented volume of blood of innocent human beings spilt by armed men, bandits, insurgents, and terrorists.

“Only mercy can bail Nigeria out from the judgment dangling upon the Nation,” he declared.
