He said Kaduna Governor, Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, would  lead the team.

The reconciliation became necessary following the suspension of Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi, from the party.

This was after Senators Tony Adeniyi, Babafemi Ojudu, Dayo Adeyeye and eight other leaders were suspended last Wednesdsy by a faction of the Party in the  State.

Last Friday, the suspended factional leaders of the state chapter announced the decision to suspend Governor Fayemi in a counter offensive.

The faction also announced the suspension of the Paul Omotosho-led Ekiti executive committee.

However, a statement by APC spokesman, Yekini Nabena, declared that the actions of both factions  were a nullity.

Nabena noted that the national secretariat had yet to receive communication from the State chapter on the suspensions.
