Nigeria’s Vice-president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday, inaugurated the newly-completed multi-billion naira Delta State Secretariat Complex and the 8.5 Megawats Independent Power Project (IPP) in Asaba.
The secretariat complex is named after Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Professor Chike Edozien.
The Vice-president also paid a visit to the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Professor Chike Edozien.
The Governor of Bayelsa State, Diri Douye, Deputy Governor of Edo State Comr Philip Shaibu also joined Governor Okowa at the inauguration of the projects.
Thousands of Deltans stormed the Secretariat to celebrate the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
