Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki on Saturday distanced himself from the statement of his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr Crusoe Osagie, in which Osagie berated a former Minister of State for Works, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi

The Governor, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Political and Community Matters, Osaro Idah, said the views expressed by Osagie against Ogiemwonyi were his personal views and did not reflect the feelings or views of Governor Godwin Obaseki.

“The views expressed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr Crusoe Osagie, in a statement on Friday, March 6, 2020, against Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi are those of Osagie and do not reflect the feelings or views of Governor Godwin Obaseki,” Idah said.

Idah added that “Governor Obaseki shares a long-standing personal relationship with Engr. Ogiemwonyi beyond political considerations.”
