Former First lady of Rivers state, Dame Judith Amaechi, says her husband Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi represents and symbolises the unity of Nigeria.
Mrs Amaechi in a message to commemorate the 57th birth anniversary of her husband, former governor and minister for transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, said her husband had lived and sacrificed his life for the unity and promotion of cultural diversity of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by her media aide, Dr Dike Bekwele, she was quoted to have said that Amaechi devoted his life to service to God and humanity.
According to her “my family earlier identified my husband’s passion in promoting the things of God and man through his service to God and Humanity; the family decided to support him to actualize his dreams; my husband chibuike Amaechi is called to serve man and God and no matter the encumbrances, he will always prevail because he is guided of the Lord.”
She enjoined Nigerians to pray for her husband, pointing out that “he represents the interest of both the poor and the rich in Nigeria and is committed to make Nigeria an egalitarianism state.”
She added that the family had donated her husband to the service of Nigeria and enjoined delegates at the special APC convention to consider her husband as presidential candidate to reposition Nigeria in the interest of unborn generation.
