A legal luminary and human rights activist, Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, has been elevated to the status of Life Bencher, the highest distinction in the legal profession.
He was elevated on Thursday February 27, 2025 and was received, along with others, by Chairman of the Body of Benchers Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo,SAN ( Life Bencher); his wife, Chief (Mrs) Victoria Awomolo, SAN (Bencher); Hon Justice Alfa Belgore (ex-CJN), and Hon Justice Umaru Abdullahi (former president of the Court of Appeal).
