A member of the All Progressives Congress Campaign Council (APC PCC), Comrade Zanna Ali, has tendered his resignation letter over what he described as unsuitability of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The letter dated January 1, 2023 and addressed to the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council of the APC, James Faleke, said his resignation as a member of Directorate of Mobilisation, North East zone, was based on the party’s failure to present a credible candidate for the February 25 presidential election.
He said in the two-paragraph letter that he was also resigning from from all other support groups for Tinubu/Shettima presidential ambition.
He said the interest he had for Nigeria superseded that of personal interest, adding he had been a loyal party member who had contributed much to the development of APC, especially in the 2019 presidential election.
He thanked the party for having given him the opportunity to serve in different capacities.
