Foremost media owner and veteran journalist, Alhaji Abdullahi Yelwa, on Wednesday last week, welcomed a beautiful granddaughter as the newest addition to his growing family.
At a colourful traditional ceremony in Abuja, the Yelwa family named the baby, Khadijat on Thursday.
The joyful occasion was witnessed by family and friends.
Baby Khadijat, the Yelwa’s latest family member is the daughter Alhaji Yelwa’s son, Talib Abdullahi Yelwa and his wife, Hajiya Nana Yelwa.
The young couple tied the knot in a wedding ceremony that attracted dignitaries from all works of life including the academia, military and top government officials on December 17 2021.
Speaking on the birth of baby Khadijat, Abdullahi Yelwa emphasized the need for strong family values to be embedded in the young ones in order to secure future generations.
Alhaji Abdullahi Yelwa is the Chief Executive/Chairman of the Caliphate Radio Sokoto and Chairman of the Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association, based in Abuja.
