Lagos discharges 45 more COVID-19 patients


Lagos State Government on Sunday announced that 45 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities across the state.

The State Governor who also doubles as the incident commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this during the daily update briefings

He said the 45 patients; 18 females and 27 males have been discharged to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 20 from Gbagada, 9 from Onikan, 2 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospita, Yaba, 1 from Agidingbi, 1 from Lekki and 12 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged today having fully recovered and testing negative to COVID-19.” he said.

The Governor also said that the 45 patients brings to 1328, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.

He called on residents of the state to continue to adhere strictly to physical distancing and hand hygiene principles
