South Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Kim Young-Chae has said the key to many problems currently facing Nigeria is to allow for continued political stability.
He said the primary solution to problems facing a nation is to have political stability.
The Ambassador who, on Monday, hosted Yobe State Governor and Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Hon. Mai-Mala Buni, told his guest that: “You have demonstrated very impressive leadership qualities which has contributed immensely to political stability in the country.”
He also commended the governor for the work he was doing in Yobe State, saying that: “At the home front, you are doing very good and successful in development of education, education is a key factor for development and we also support the development of education.”
He invited Buni to visit Korea to explore opportunities for agricultural transformation, using machines against human labour to boost productivity.
He promised to introduce the Sesame seeds produced in Yobe state to the Korean business community to attract investment.
He said: “we will work on partnership that would be beneficial to the farmers and Korean companies.”
Earlier, Governor Buni expressed the commitment of his administration to rehabilitating and recovering the state from the effects of the protracted Boko Haram security challenge.
He said education remained the priority sector of his administration and would continue to receive the support of government for a prosperous future for the state.
Buni added that healthcare delivery, agriculture, economic growth, youth and women empowerment were strategically addressed to fight disease, unemployment and poverty to give the state a promising future.
The governor advocated a strong partnership with the Korean government for support and intervention that would fast track development in the state as well as, to promote investment in the production of Sesame seeds for a beneficial partnership to the people of the state and Korean companies.
