Nigeria’s Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, was at the Reddington Hospital, Lagos, on Saturday purportedly for his annual medical checkup.

The visit, which lasted about four hours, had on the one hand attracted attention and on the other hand prompted fear about what was happening to him.

His convoy reportedly arrived on the premises of the hospital about 10 am on Saturday and left about 2 pm.

Sahara Reporters had in a report, for instance, quoted a source in the Presidency that the Vice president was at the hospital for his annual medical checkup.

The visit that took him to Lagos was one of the reasons he could not attend the burial ceremonies of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other military men who perished in the ill-fated military aircraft in Kaduna last Friday.

Anxiety was reportedly cleared when a source confirmed that the Vp was there at Reddington Hospital for his annual medical checkup and that he returned to Abuja the same day.

“He was also in church the following day, Sunday and at work today (Monday),” the source was quoted to have said. (Sahara Reporters)
