Kano APC Primary Election: Tinubu wins landslide with over 500,000 votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu swept the APC presidential primary in Kano State, polling 500,852 votes across all 44 LGAs on Saturday.

His only challenger, Osifo Osayamen Stanley, got 2,675 votes. The results were collated at the Kano State Government House.

Deputy Senate President Barau I. Jibrin, who voted in Kabo LGA, called the process peaceful and transparent. He said it reflects Tinubu’s popularity in the state and signals a strong APC showing ahead of 2027.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf supervised the collation, with INEC officials and security agencies present.
