Troops of Operation Desert Sanity have destroyed ISWAP/BokoHaram enclaves around Ukuba and Camp Zairo in Sambisa forest, Borno State.
According military source, the ongoing offensive clearance operations recorded another feat.
The source added that several terrorists were neutralized as troops recovered equipment and weapons.
“On Thursday troops of Operation Desert Sanity were also reported to have destroyed BokoHaram/ISWAP’s Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) and their enclaves around Njimia-Alafa axis in Borno State on 23 March 2022,” the source said, adding that offensive clearance operation is still ongoing to deter terrorists freedom of action.
