High Chief Musa Amedu, President, Edo Diaspora UK, has bagged OSRA Award in Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, among an array of awardees who have touched the lives of the needy as well as contributed significantly to the development of their various communities.

The Aralla of Ewu Ojieanemu of Irrua Kingdom, the Aare of Iyemogun, Ijesa land who previously won the Prime Minister of United Kingdom award was elated for being recognized for his contribution to the less privileged in the society and humanity.

“I’m pretty impressed, surprised and delighted for this honour done to me by His Eminence, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Oguwusi, (Ojaja 11), the Ooni of Ife, for this special recognition and award back home in Nigeria for my humanitarian activities globally.
“The (Ojaja 11) is a rare bred and a pride to Nigeria and African traditional institution and it is high time we pushed for constitutional roles for our traditional rulers in the country as it is done in the United Kingdom.

“There’s no doubt that this recognition among others will certainly spur me to do more for the society because giving back to the society is more dignifying.
“I relish this moment as one of the most reassuring and celebratory time to sit back and reappraise all we have done over the years under the auspices of the Wonderfully Made Woman Foundation.

“My special thanks go to the Ooni of Ife, my wife Mrs … Amedu and the organizers of OSRA Award for the seemly and classic outing this evening”, High Chief Musa Amedu (Esq) said.
