Governor Sanwo-Olu approves full reopening of markets in Lagos

Ahmed pointed out that the governor advised the continued observance of all safety protocols to prevent a second wave of the disease.

He also said that traders and their customers must adhere strictly to the protocols for their safety and that of the citizenry at large.

The commissioner stated that Sanwo-Olu took the decision to further enhance trade and commerce.

He explained that the government was committed to mitigating the hardship of recent times and eensuring that Lagos residents rrecovers fast as possible.

It would be recalled that the markets were shut in March due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The state government had embarked on a partial reopening of the market prelude to the decision for full reopening .
