Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, has sacked the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kola Olawoye.
Governor Akeredolu did not give resins for the sack of Olawoye.
He immediately appointed a human rights lawyer, Mr Charles Titiloye, as the new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
Akeredolu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Segun Ajiboye, said in a statement on Monday thatTitiloye’s name would soon be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The governor, reportedly, expressed his appreciation to the sacked commissioner for the services rendered to the state.
He said he wished him success in his future endeavours.
