The personal assistant to the former military head of state, General Yakubu Gowon (retd), Mr. Adeyeye Ajayi has debunked rumours doing the rounds that the former Nigerian leader is dead.
Adeyeye, in a statement on Sunday, called on the public to disregard the rumour circulating on social media.

According to him, “General Gowon is in good health and has been attending public functions, playing his role as a voice of reason and support for Nigeria’s growth and development.”
