The Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone XI Command Osogbo AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, has promised adequate security and protection for FCCPC operatives when discharging their duty.
AIG Oladimeji made this promise while receiving the Zonal Coordinator of Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Mrs Bimbo Aileme, and her team in his office at Zone XI Command Headquarters Osogbo on Wednesday.
The AIG, who promised necessary support to the FCCPC, advised the leadership of the agency to embark on more public awareness programs to inform the public adequately on the differences between PCCPC and National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

In her address, the FCCPC Zonal Coordinator, Mrs Bimbo Aileme said the purpose of the visit was to open an effective channel of interaction in the area of mutual interest that would be of benefits to the public and both organizations.
She confirmed that the commission was the apex Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria established under the FCCP Act of 2018 and was saddled with the responsibilities of protecting consumers from producers dubious activities, the organization was seeking for Nigeria Police partnership to stop production of fake products in our nation.
At the meeting were the Zone XI Command Osogbo management team.
