A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairman in Edo state has been shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
A report by Salemgists said that the deceased, identified as Tunde igbinoba, was PDP chairman in Ward 5, Oredo Local Government Area of the state.
He was reportedly shot dead by the gunmen who invaded the venue of the party’s primary election and started shooting sporadically.
The ugly incident took place on Monday, May 23, 2022 during the party’s primary election in the state.
