Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has conveyed its condolences and sympathies to a former State Governor, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, over the death of his mother, Madam Oredola Igbinedion.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Chris Osa Nehikhare, the party said it received the news of the passing of mama with shock and sadness.
“The members and leadership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, conveys its condolences and sympathies to His Excellency, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, his siblings and the entire grieving members of his family on the untimely death of Mama.
“Mama was a dedicated, loyal and committed mother. Her counsel and organizational ability was a blessing and added value to the development and growth of her family.
“To our respected and amiable former Governor, H.E Lucky Igbinedion, we ask him to stay strong in this trying time.
“May the good Lord your mother served grant her a blissful eternity and your family fortitude to endure and rationalize her final departure,” the statement read.
