Celebrity barman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general election.
Okechukwu made the announcement in a video shared on his Instagram page, where he revealed plans to run for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
In his post, he said he visited the party’s state secretariat to congratulate the newly constituted leadership and formally presented his ambition to represent his constituency at the National Assembly.
He appealed for support and prayers, stating that his aspiration is subject to divine will, while also urging party members to remain united in pursuit of common political goals.
His declaration comes amid his active involvement in the City Boy Movement, a political group associated with Seyi Tinubu, son of Bola Tinubu.

The group has been mobilising support for the President’s re-election, with Okechukwu currently serving as its Imo State director.
