Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 298 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 49,068 cases.
The data from the health agency showed that 1 new death was recorded in the country as the deaths figure increased from 974 on Saturday night to 975 on Sunday night.
NCDC data also revealed that there were 11,596 active cases, while 36,497 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
