The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday, announced 920 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the fresh cases with-308, FCT-207, Kaduna-179, Plateau-46, Niger-43, Adamawa-26, Sokoto-18, Rivers-16, Yobe-15, Enugu-13, Kano-13, Ogun-12, Delta-10, Edo-5, Osun-3, Oyo-3, Anambra-2 and Ekiti-1.
The agency said six deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the fatality figure stood at 1,218.
The data from the agency disclosed that 300 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 67,784 while 8,931 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Saturday included 115 community recoveries in Kaduna State and 104 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
