COVID-19 Updates: NCDC confirms 373 new cases, 10 new deaths, 12,841 active cases

Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 373 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 48,116 cases.

The data from the health agency shows that 10 new deaths were recorded in the country within the last 24 hours as the deaths figure increased 956 on Wednesday night to 966 on Thursday night.

NCDC data also revealed that there were 12,841 active cases, while 34,309 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.

NCDC also announced the inclusion of the General Hospital Onitsha, Anambra to its Molecular Laboratory Network, adding that there are currently 63 laboratories with the capacity of conducting test for COVID-19 in the country.
