The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 318 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-104, Kaduna -59, FCT-50, Rivers-17, Ogun-16, Kano-14, Nasarawa-14, Akwa Ibom-10, Katsina-10, Edo-7, Oyo-5, Sokoto-5, Plateau-4 and Taraba-3.
The agency said no new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,180.
The data from the agency disclosed that 124 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 64,774 while 3,301 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Sunday included 60 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 69,255.
