The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night, announced 145 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-49, FCT-34, Kaduna-34, Plateau-11, Oyo-7, Bayelsa-5, Taraba-4 and Sokoto-1.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,173.
The data from the agency disclosed that 227 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 63, 282 while 3,102 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Monday included 97 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 67,557.
