Breaking News: Lagos discharges 48 more COVID-19 patients

Lagos State Government on Thursday said 48 more COVID-19 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities in the state to reunite with the society.

The State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this during the daily update. He said the patients 32 males and 16 females were discharged from Yaba, Lekki, Onikan and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation facilities. “The patients, 28 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 6 from Lekki, 1 from Onikan and 13 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings,” Sanwo-Olu said.

He added that with this, the number of confirmed Covid19 cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in state is now 406
