At least 5 people are confirmed dead and 10 others pulled out alive after a 3-storey building under construction collapsed in Durumi 3, near Gudu Market, on Saturday May 16, 2026.

The collapse happened around Gaduwa Estate in the Gudu district. Rescue teams are still on site digging through the rubble for more people believed to be trapped.
