The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a committee to screen aspirants on the platform of the party for the July 16, 2022 Osun State governorship election.
A statement by the National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, said Mohammed Adoke Bello would serve as Chairman of the Screening Committee and Chief Rahman Owokoniran (South West Zonal Secretary) would serve as the secretary.
Other members of the committee, the statement said, included Amb. Sen. Aminu Wali, Hon. Mrs. Nnenna Ukeje and Fidelis Tapgun.
Bature said the screening exercise was scheduled for Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the NEC Hall of the PDP national secretariat, Abuja at 10 am.
