The management of Osun United felicitates all Christian faithful on the occasion of this year’s Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
A statement by the Club’s President, Ademola Adesina, made available to newsmen through the club’s Media Officer, Tajudeen Amodu, appreciated players, technical crew, fans and supporters for standing by the team through thick and thin since the beginning of the year and their unflinching support and concern when the chips were down.
According to the statement, “I graciously felicitate with our Christian brothers and sisters particularly at Osun United on the occasion of this year’s Christmas.
“This Yuletide season is a period of peace, hope, love and salvation as revealed by the Lord Jesus to all mankind and I want to urge us all to reflect on the miracle lessons of the birth of Jesus and other worthy values surrounding his death and resurrection to be a guide on our journeys of life.
“I also enjoin our players and technical crew to celebrate the Yuletide season in moderation with strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines so as not to contract the disease whose second wave is currently ravaging the world. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year in advance.”
