APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda has congratulated Muslims on Eid-el Kabir and called for public support for President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, Yilwatda described the festival as a sacred occasion of faith, sacrifice, and obedience to God, rooted in the example of Prophet Ibrahim.

He said the lessons of selflessness, unity, and perseverance are directly relevant to Nigeria at this stage of national development.

“The spiritual lessons of the celebration are highly relevant to Nigeria at this critical stage of national development, stressing that sacrifice, patience, perseverance and collective responsibility are essential ingredients needed to build a stronger, more united and prosperous nation,” Tooki said on Yilwatda’s behalf.

Yilwatda urged Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, to promote peaceful coexistence and national unity across ethnic, religious, and political lines. He asked the Muslim community and the public to back the Tinubu administration’s reforms aimed at improving infrastructure, security, job creation, and long-term growth.

While acknowledging that the reforms require patience and shared sacrifice, he said they are necessary to restore stability, strengthen institutions, and secure a better future.

He expressed confidence that under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria would become stronger, more resilient, and more competitive globally, and appealed for prayers for peace, unity, and wisdom for leaders at all levels.
