Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has said he does not feel completely free living in the United States.
In an interview with streamer Playboymax, Burna Boy explained that while he enjoys some aspects of being in America, he never feels entirely at ease there. He said his real sense of peace and authenticity exists only in Nigeria, where he feels most at home.
The Afrobeats star noted that although the U.S. offers many opportunities, it lacks the freedom he experiences in his own country. He described Nigeria as a place where he can live without restrictions and express himself without fear.
Burna Boy added that his idea of freedom can only be found in his homeland, emphasizing that life abroad often comes with limitations he prefers to avoid.
