The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has disassociated from the activities of some online portals claiming that the agency is carrying out an online recruitment process.
According to a statement signed by the General Manager Public Relations Muntari Yusuf Ibrahim, the agency categorically stated that it is not recruiting at the moment.
The agency advises members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, to be wary of fraudulent online portals inviting unsuspecting members of the public for job interviews in a purported online recruitment exercise by the agency.
The agency added that any member of the public who gets entangled with such portals does so at his or her own risk.
