There is a falsehood being peddled by the already defeated Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, urchins on social media relating to its candidate, Asue Ighodalo, that there is a ‘major Boost as Orbih Controlled Legacy Group Backs Ighodalo.’ This is not only a lie from the pit of hell, there is not ounce of truth in it.

For the sake of the unsuspecting public, the Legacy Coalition has no business with the PDP candidate Obaseki foisted on the party, and the imposition of the outsider-stranger on the party.

The poorly baked news of the said endorsement can only be coming from intense hallucinations from a confused mind of one of the blind Obasekist who is not aware that PDP across the 18 Local Government Areas, LGAs, have been decimated owing to the poor politics and poor performance of the governor since 2020 after he was voted for on the strength of the Legacy Group.

The fledgling PDP and its hack writers who are peddling the senseless story should be concerned with what the party is facing in several courts concerning the apparent nullification of the PDP primary by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

There is no way the Legacy Group will be able to vote for a candidate that will not be on the ballot box come September.

There is no way the Legacy Group will be able to vote for a candidate that is facing perjury and forgery in a court of competent jurisdiction over the forgery of INEC voters card.

There is no way the Legacy Group will support Obaseki’s disguised 3rd term in office through his business friend but unfortunately a stranger to the people of Edo State.

There is no way the Legacy Group will continue to support Obaseki in his futile catastrophic journey to deceive the people of Edo State the third time in order to unleash his wickeness and absolute ingratitude.

There is no way the Legacy Group that have unflinching respect for the Oba of Benin will support the PDP candidate and his godfather that has been fighting the Palace for years now.

The PDP should face its trials and start preparations for reinventing itself after Obaseki’s inglorious exit. Obaseki’s boys should look for a better story to spin. Time is certainly running out for the evil doer.
