Troops of the Nigerian Army successfully averted a terrorist attack in Kaduna State, neutralizing two terrorists and capturing weapons during an ambush operation. In a well-executed ambush, the soldiers engaged the terrorists in an intense firefight, neutralizing two while the remaining assailants fled with gunshot wounds into a nearby forest.

Following the confrontation, a thorough search of the area led to the recovery of two AK-47 rifles, 30 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, three magazines, and two motorbikes belonging to the terrorists.
