Transcorp Hilton Abuja has issued a formal rebuttal against viral social media claims alleging the hotel cancelled a scheduled political meeting.
In a statement signed by Acting General Manager Mohamed Said Khalil, the luxury hotel clarified that the incident in question was a matter of availability, not a political or administrative cancellation.
The management described the circulating narrative as “inaccurate, malicious, and entirely fabricated,” urging the public to disregard the misinformation.

The hotel clarified that while an inquiry was indeed made, it never progressed to a confirmed reservation.
