Transnational Corporation Plc has approved a total dividend payout of ₦20.3 billion for 2025, paying shareholders ₦2.00 per share at its 20th Annual General Meeting in Abuja.
The payout includes an interim dividend of ₦4.06 billion, or 40 kobo per share, paid in August 2025, and a final dividend of ₦16.26 billion, or ₦1.60 per share.
Shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, where the group reported strong growth across key metrics. Revenue rose 33% year-on-year to ₦544 billion, while profit before tax climbed 31% to ₦179.5 billion. Profit after tax surged 44% to ₦135.9 billion.
Group Chairman Tony Elumelu said the results reflect disciplined execution and a diversified portfolio. “Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, the Group continues to benefit from its diversified portfolio, which has underpinned resilient financial performance in 2025,” he said.
President/Group CEO Owen Omogiafo described 2025 as a year of “disciplined execution, strategic resolve, and resilient performance,” adding that Transcorp remains focused on bridging Nigeria’s energy gap and expanding its hospitality footprint. The group cited its 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre as evidence of that execution.
Shareholders praised the performance. “I commend the management and staff of Transcorp for sustained performance year-on-year,” said shareholder E. O. Obideyi. Moses Igrude said the group’s growth under Elumelu’s leadership shows its “Improving lives and transforming Africa” mandate is being realised.
Transcorp Group, with a market capitalisation of ₦4.78 trillion as of May 7, 2026, operates in power, hospitality and energy. Its power subsidiaries provide over 20% of Nigeria’s installed capacity, while Transcorp Hotels owns Transcorp Hilton Abuja and Transcorp Centre.
